Twenty Years A Shopkeeper
2022 is a year of varied celebrations but principally for this little outpost in Suffolk it marks 20 years of Collen & Clare.
When I began to plan how we could mark this milestone my thoughts turned to what it is that makes this still, after two decades, so much fun. The answer is the people, the place, the laughter, texture and light that I can only describe as Shop Life.
And so welcome to a visual attempt, over the next 12 months, to capture Shop Life at Collen & Clare by artist and friend Louisa Marcq.

Fashion Notes for the week are all denim, denim, denim, pick up any magazine and you will see every editor discussing the straight, the wide, the denim jacket and how men of any age should be wearing denim (just don't try too hard is the essence and avoid 'trendy' fits).
