Laboratory Perfume - Let's Go Eco

Laboratory Perfumes is not your ordinary fragrance house... since its creation in London in 2011, it has pursued the qualities that make up timelessly wearable scents that both men and women love. During a time when many perfumes tend to lean towards something very over complicated and exclusionary, Laboratory Perfume showcases a breath of fresh air.

We are in love with three scents, Amber, Gorse and Samphire. Each scent has been scientifically formulated to create something rather charming and unique to every individual wearer. Taking a step back from the ordinary and existing scents, founder Aaron Firth charted for a more unconventional course. Taking the fragrances back to basics involves individual scents that are governed only by nature with inspiration taken from flowers, herbs and aromatic botanical's. With the world at the front of all thoughts, all candles and scents are made in the UK using socially conscious, environmentally friendly and cruelty-free ingredients.

By using non-animal-derived ingredients, Laboratory Perfume is officially vegan friendly (although not edible!). They demand the same ethical and environmental standards from everyone they work alongside with - all glass, card and paper packaging is sustainably sourced and widely recycled.

AMBER

Laboratory Perfumes’ first scent creation, brings to mind summer rambles along Britain’s rugged coastline and rolling hills. With a rich and woody base, ambergris, grasses, and spicy top notes, Amber is a warm and complex scent that teases its hidden depths the longer its left on your skin.

GORSE

Named for the plant found in the South of France, Gorse opens with a fresh hit of crisp citrus and smooth coconut, before maturing into a heady wrap of spiced cardamom. There’s nothing else quite like it.

SAMPHIRE

From a single sprig of verbena plucked from a friend’s garden comes the fresh and invigorating scent of Samphire. A pinch of spicy juniper berries, citrus oil and an intoxicating trio of lavender, rosemary and basil, join verbena to layer over white amber and oak moss to culminate in a fragrance that evokes the fresh coastal air enjoyed on a bracing walk.
