Brand Focus: Hope Fashion
Founded by Nayna McIntosh, Hope Fashion was born with the aim of empowering and inspiring women to feel confident when dressing, whatever her size or shape. Spotting a gap in the market for both comfortable and stylish clothing for the over 40’s, Nayna set it her mission to create a collection of elegant and relaxed pieces which will make all women look and feel beautifully confident. Crafted from natural fabrics, her collection is manufactured in both Britain and Italy and Nayna works closely with the manufacturers to ensure that the brands ethos is present in all products from start to finish. All Hope garments are designed on a template of thirds, ensuring that they work on the principles of the Divine Proportion which you can read more on here. By doing so, these garments can help elongate the body making your silhouette look taller and slimmer.
We suggest starting with the ‘Foundation Range’ which has been designed to form the basis of outfits, and will become the key staple pieces in your wardrobe. Crafted from carefully sourced and breathable fabrics, this range has a smoothing effect on the outline of your figure and is designed to help shape and sculpt your silhouette. The capsule includes long sleeve tops, long sleeve dresses, tube skirts and leggings, all which can be layered upon with the rest of the collection for a timeless look which will suit all seasons.
Dismissing classic sizing due to believing that body shape is more relevant than a number, Hope Fashion have devised a sizing system which focuses on just that. The majority of the collection is crafted in the three following sizes:
Free size: UK size 8 – 20
Dual Slim: UK size 8 – 14
Dual Curvy: UK size 16- 20
Whilst trousers comes in the following sizes:
Super slim: UK size 8
Slim: UK 10 – 12
Curvy: UK 14 – 16
Super Curvy: UK 18 – 20
We are super pleased to be able to support this unique brand and it is available both in our stores and online at Collen & Clare. Our head buyer, Morgan has styled her favourite foundation pieces along with the silk shirt and kimono from SS17 to demonstrate how the garments can be layered upon one another.
